Refuel Jetpacks Monopropellant?

i was in orbit on the Mun and EVA'd Jeb to do science but he hit a part of the ship as he left the capsule and got flung several kilometres from the craft in an uncontrollable spin, and the monopropellent in his jetpack wasnt enough to arrest the spin.

i launched another craft to rescue him, and Valentina has reached him easily, but i don't know if theres a way to grab him, or to refuel his tanks to get him back into a capsule.

any help will be greatly appreciated

First, welcome to the forums

You can only refill a Kerbal's monoprop by entering a ship and you can only grab a Kerbal using the Klaw.

If a Kerbal is stranded without monopropellant, try to move the ship to the Kerbal so that the ladder or command pod can be reached by the Kerbal unable to move (basically touch the Kerbal with the ship).

If you're really desperate, using the debug menu (Alt + F12) and toggling infinite EVA monoprop might help you, although I'm not sure if it would still work with an empty jetpack.

You can transfer jetpack propellant between kerbals that are in external command chairs on the same vessel but it's probably easier just to get him in front of a hatch or a ladder so he can grab on.

The mod KIS has an external EVA fuel cannister your can carry around to refuel on the go.

Also, one thing that won't help you with your current predicament, but could be useful in similar situations in the future: If a kerbal is ragdolling and/or spinning, you can recover by just upping timewarp momentarily, or by switching to KSC and back.

I'd guess you could also rescue him with a cargo bay.

By the way, shouldn't it be possible to transfer fuel between two kerbals caught by two Klaws on the same vessel? Or get one in the external seat and the other with the Klaw.
