i think i was on the EA simcity official forum at this time ... fighting investor and manager choices on the long run ... and joined the kerbal forum just after, close to a full year spent there arguing daily & day after days ... something like just before the beggining of spaceport/curse event transition here ; )

sadly history proven a few people (including me) right for maxis emmeryville studio devs and families ... concerning investor and manager policies ... *censored* ... it's an other story wich i now tend to kinda dislike to discuss much ...

also on a side note notice they (" "EA" ") did pretty the same a few years earlier in another maxis studio in japan (back in 2012 or so ...) due to another relatively known licence released more or less "work as intended & blablabla vision" failure ...

Also at first i not intended to buy the game just bought it to play with my younger brother to please him in memory of our sc2000 days ... because just reading a few review between the line i presumed what's going to happen more or less ... but hey you know what wouldn't you do to please your younger brother ... moaned like 3 day before finally buying the sc 2013 licence ...

I'm no mod, but it's because KasperVld (who usually does it) has exams coming up.

Yes indeed. Ramping workload and a busy Kasper has contributed to delayed postings. It looks like Modding Monday is back on track.

Cheers,

A quick question, why is it that moderators view a person's profile frequently - Say, if a thread of yours is closed or you ask a thread to be moved - I noticed it just recently, but what for?

Thanks!

There's not really any rhyme or reason to when we view user profiles. I often visit the profile of a user I'm not familiar with who says something I find interesting, and I almost always check a user's profile if I have to moderate them. I also sometimes use the profile to initiate a PM conversation (whether as a moderator or just a user). It's usually not anything to worry about if you see a moderator's name in your recent visitors list.

Is it possible to change or delete a poll after it's been added to a thread? Asking because I might want to put a poll on one of mine, but as the thread is a long term mission report the poll would become old news at some point, and I would want to remove it or replace it with a new one. Thanks mods!

/me meant long-term... as in years.

Hard to say. There have been a lot of moderators come and go as people move on to other communities and lose interest, and a few who have served for a very long time. I'll stay for as long as I'm active in the community and haven't burned out (or until the other mods get sick of me :)).
