EDIT: Update on the "experimental dev" version 0.0.1

Changelog:

-Added 2KASS404 (as it is called ingame) "Braun" and its system.

-added Bilwad, another moon of Yof.

Needs:

-Tyrok lava ocean fix

-farther stars (thanks for the tip Pkmniako, but can you help?)

- oceans on 2KASS404c "Corit"

-more planets (obviously)

- more realistic brown dwarf mechanics

-biome maps (ibuckshot's going to do that)

-I'll update as I go on (just the fix for the lighting glitch by exporting textures).

Anyway, Here it is (including the WIP Lylat system):

Keep in mind that the Lylat System is owned by Nintendo, and their Starfox series, NOT me - I'm just trying to make it more sensible and explorable for the heck of it, and fun, of course.

I'm going to fix Tyrok, and try to create the oceans on Corit.

BTW, the stars are waaaayy too far away. Even with a warp drive mod it would take forever!

I changed the texture of HP10b, because it looked horrible...

I plan to rewamp Tyrok, with a new texture and stuff.

UPDATE : I have finished Corit's oceans. They work perfectly!

UPDATE : I rewamped, enlarged and added an atmosphere to Tyrok. The lava oceans now work perfectly, and the texture is in HD!

Here is a download link to download two folders containing the updated Corit and Tyrok. You need to replace the old "Corit" and "Tyrok" folders with these ones to get the updated planets. KEEP IN MIND THAT IT DOESN'T HAVE A 100% CHANGE OF BEING IN THE OFFICIAL MOD! http://www./download/1x87l01033wmui8/Corit.rar

Interesting. Maybe my eyes betray me, but I don't think that is a generic SE export. Any specific process to make it? I am entertaining the thought of creating a few planets myself and am currently trying to suck up all the information I can regarding that topic :D

@ibuckshot, you can go into your recycling bin and "restore" the maps - right?

@TheJewelOfJool: yes, I will be making a cloud config for Corit and most atmospheric planets.

Right now, Oceania, the ocean moon in the main download needs to be fixed because of the ocean on land issues.

Other than that, I think we will be good to go for the first release, that is, unless the plugin support for kopernicus comes along and we can then finish and add in Valklipper.

I just exported it in 4096x2048. Planets with oceans need to be in HD, because the shorelines will look ugly if it's not HD.

BTW Astrofox, is my work on Corit and Tyrok good enough to be implemented in the mod?

Also, about Oceania, can I try to fix it?

You're pretty much the guy who can do oceanic worlds without bugs, so yeah, just don't change the texture map for Corit (in game it is called 2KASS404c) or the texture map for Oceania.

Also, can you work on another version of Tyrok that uses the old texture map, just in case we need it back for later (maybe rename the moon until further notice, yet give it the proper dimensions and texture work of the old Tyrok - better yet, put it around Jool for the time being, or even Moho)?

@TheJewelOfJool: I have added some clouds to Corit, and will be in the next update, as well as a proper cloud cover for the current Tyrok.

I'm not going to change Corit's or Oceania's texture. I will try to work on another version of Tyrok with the original size, but it's not 100% sure that I will suceed, as such a small body with oceans can be very buggy.

I'm also going to start working on Oceania.

By "current Tyrok", do you mean my Tyrok or the old one?

So, please do fix the older one, but re-name and move somewhere for fun. Anyway, the new one may not be the actual Tyrok, unless, amarius1 says that we may use the new texture.

You can use it. I'll reuse and improve the old one to be used in kerbol plus.

@TheJewelOfJool: Comor doesn't have a tail just yet, but I am planning on adding it.

Also, does anyone here know how to make a gas giant "glow?"

Also, @Elowiny, could you place the texture map you recently posted in a spoiler: Firefox hates it apparently (and the entire window will turn black).

It kinda doesn't fit the reddish theme of HD101, and the planet(s) around it (yes, I may add a secondary planet for fun). So, could you add a kinda reddish tone to it, or even find something with Space Engine (although, I have found a texture that's fitting).

That kinda looks like it would fit Kinern, which is actually the same texture as HD101b, but recolored, so, I probably will end up keeping Kinern's texture like that until I can find or recolor a texture to be periwinkle(ish) and Purple/Magenta.

-Tail for Comer

- Better Yof texture, as suggested by Mr.HappyFace (I think?)

-third and final planet around Braun (until further notice, of course).

-Cloud cover for Yof and Sawob, as well as several other planets

-better texture for PSRK 1620 b (as it is called ingame, I think).

For Comer, I'm not sure If I can do it.

I will let you do the final planet around Braun.

I might try making the cloud cover, but it's not 100% sure.

(BTW, since I helped in the mod, could you add my name to the list of contributors in the main page ? :))
