Wait, Dres has asteroids now?

From the wiki:

[Dres] has not "cleared its neighborhood", due to the presence of "Dres-teroids" nearby. However, the "Dres-troids" are actually in orbit around Dres, by definition, making them part of a ring system.

There are no asteroids orbiting Dres in any of my games, and no asteroids anywhere other then where they have been since the ARM update. What is it talking about?

If you're playing career, you'll have to fully upgrade your tracking station to see them. When I went out to Dres last I did have one pop up on in the orbital map but I couldn't make out any 'ring' structure there. They are out there!

That picture just made me 5000% more hyped to visit Dres :o

Same. I have a mothership with a miner heading there, with 12 Kerbals onboard and not enough fuel to return. Now I know they won't have to drift there until TAC-LS run out.

I actually saw a video recently where a guy named Astrogamer727 was landing on Dres and when he was time warping there, he saw the rings. The might have been 6 astroids, and both me and him were very surprised. (First peek!)

It would be cool to implement Main Belt asteroids into stock game, as well as Kuiper belt objdects, comets and moonlets of Jool ...

There WAS a mod that made that. Not sure it it was using a plugin to make the spawn algorigthm configurable or whether that is a function of the stock game. In the case of the latter, adding some stuff to the spawn .cfg does it. In the case of the former, the plugin will need to be updated to 1.0.x and I doubt it will be as simple as a recompile.

EDIT: I found it.
