Im going to have to thank Skunky for this one.

Basicly, you have all seen the no map challenge, but that isn\'t enough. Lets go no gauges at all! This is not a singular challenge, but many. There will be a hardcore mode achievement board below, and you simply have to post pics for proof.

Rules:

1: Must have GUI layer closed at all times! (F2)

2: No map view at ALL!

3: Pics or its fake.

4: NO MECHJEB!

Hardcore achievements:

First hardcore Kerbin orbit: Bunsen

First hardcore landing a KSC after orbit:

First hardcore free return:

First hardcore Mun landing:

First hardcore Minimus landing

First hardcore orbital rendezvous:

First hardcore around the world spaceplane trip(Not above 20,000 M):

First hardcore Mun base:

First hardcore Minimus base:

First hardcore sundiver:

First hardcore Kerbol orbit: Donlorenzo

First hardcore double moon landing (To Mun, then Minimus, then back.):

Feel free to post suggestions.

Sign me up. Gonna get me some fraps action especially for this. First things first, gonna try orbiting :)

edit: so.. made orbit.. just not around the intended body

Uhh, wat?

Craft markers are the reticules that show up on other craft/debris. My rocket used a decoupler to lift off of and I thus had an altitude/distance indicator up to 100km. Felt this would be cheating so didn\'t look at it above 5km

oh and kerbal-naut: I made a video of my first attempt, but then got sick of the editing program I found and decided not to upload it. I can still do so if anyone would like to see my feeble attempt.. In short, I lifted off and burned for orbit, way overdid it and ended up in kerbol orbit.

I guess ill give you first hardcore kerbol orbit.

Made Kerbal orbit, with maybe slight cheating -- I realized I was reentering the atmosphere when it dropped to 2x time warp, so I burned hard (and very nearly followed DonLorenzo into Kerbol orbit). Given that, I\'m not sure if this one counts.

Somewhere near perikerb; it\'s high enough that it stays in 10x time warp:

And my best guess for apokerb; Kerbin stopped getting smaller about here. I think I must have been out near munar orbit by this point.

Cool, adding you to the list. I guess warp time indicators are ok.

I think it\'s referring to a munar free return trajectory. It\'s where you launch out to the mun, get caught by it and \'flung back\' into a kerbin orbit with a PE of <70km. The \'free\' bit implies that all this will happen after the initial TMI burn without any other inputs to the craft, ie no course corrections. AFAIK it\'s a trajectory the apollo missions were on and they would only perform a lunar orbit insertion burn if everything looked good, if not, they could return home without any main engine burns. If I were to bet I\'d bet it\'s not going to be done on HC mode. Not without some real good burn timing and lots of practice runs :)
