Seen the trailer - I find the new concept interesting, although I do not expect to much change in the actual gameplay - the trailer looked not to different from its predecessor - sadly 40 years are a bit long for a reunification with Bradford?

I'm a young teen (less than 15) And I've played EVERY X-com game (Except The bureau(Which sucked)) and I CAN"T WAIT for XCOM 2 (PLEASE have shen. We need some sarcasm.) Is that weird? I've also beaten Chrono Trigger, Final Fanatsy 3, ETC. I'm big on classic games.

I think out of the "main" characters, Vahlen would be the most likely to return, in a much older body of course.

I played the original and apocalypse a lot growing up. I still really liked the reboot. I think each has it's strong points and the new one looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.

Maybe a little off topic, but does anyone else feel like the engine for the new xcoms would work well for a squad based WH40k game?

The wait is really hard ... there will be expansions in the future and I am trying to not spent as much money on games as I did ... so I am still not playing, but waiting for a all-in-one edition to buy it in a sale.

Meanwhile I got hooked on XCOM:EW once again, trying to get the hang of Impossible-Ironman mode - it is not going well.

No mec soldier this time, sadly, but there is going to be a DLC which promises a new class....so maybe?

I finished the game for the second time a few days ago avoiding all the mistakes i made at my first playthrough. Although the story of the game along with the gameplay and its art (the city missions felt like a cyberpunk game) are the really strong points, and i enjoyed the game for those reasons, it has many bugs and it's poorly optimized, the lag i faced at the last mission was terrible and many of the bugs that were at the pre-release versions some youtubers had are still there. The sad thing about it is that Firaxis will not fix these issues because they rather keep on their ''principles'' that admit ''defeat''. For those that haven't buy the game wait for a big discount on steam along with any DLC's that might be released.

Remember to check the mods too, I recommend the SMG + Leader pack made by the same people who made the long war mod for the previous xcom. Maybe also a mod that fix rangers so melee builds are more viable at late game.
