Ore Collecting Contract

I just accepted an ore collection contract to extract 2550 units of ore from Bop and deliver it to Jool orbit, and I need to know some specifics about that contract's mechanics before I go ahead with it.

The first thing I need to do is "Acquire 2550 units of fresh ore from Bop." Does that mean I need to bring up that much in a single mining session? My original plan was to have a small lander that travels between Bop's surface and a larger ship that holds all the ore, and collect ore in several mining sessions.

I believe you can do it in multiple sessions. There's a marker that pops up when you've collected 25, 50, and 75% of the necessary ore so it's tracked at least. I haven't tested it though.
