Buggy Title Screen

I recently installed the QuizTechAero mod for my 1.0 version of KSP. (Don't ask why my KSP didn't get updated) and suddenly, after the game loaded, I could not select any of the title buttons. I hover over them with my mouse, but they don't light up. Heres an image;

(Don't question the white Kerbin. Happened when I accidentally installed the wrong version of a Solar System Mod.)

Maybe try reinstalling KSP on top of your existing install? I mean it's fairly obvious your files are borked.

UPDATE: Alright. I created a copy of KSP and deleted all traces of mods in it (including ships and subassemblies), yet the title screen still isnt responding.
