Missing Ship

To fullfil two different contracts I put two different Stations in orbit around the sun. I now see that one of them has gone missing. Why? and How can I get it back, I have all the automatic and quick saves going back for quite sometime. v1.02 on the Mac. Thanks

Quicksave the orbital parameters of the first station, then launch one into LKO, put the second one on the pad, then paste the orbital parameters from the clipboard into both of the stations, but set the MNA parameter of one station to 3.14, and the other to 0.

I'm not exactly sure what could be causing this, but my first question would be if you have large amounts of debris just floating around.

Quicksaving back and forth is causing this. I also had the same problem.

My solution is to use quicksave not as much (and become a better pilot instead ) and use the normal save instead (for example after archieving orbit).

A rule for me is not to use quicksave -and load when I switched to another vessel before a normal savegame.

Is there no way I can go into a previous save and copy the correct vessel back into the latest save?

to be short, no

You have two options:

1 go back to your last save in wich you have your ships

2 accept your loss and move on (what I did after discovering when all my explorer probes to Jool dissapeared)

This might seem stupid, but double check to be sure you're tracking ships/probes/landers etc at the Tracking Station. Your first ship might be there, you're just not seeing it on the map.
