Just a funny conversation I had with my friend

I've always enjoyed mind games and wished I could do it, but I'm not very good at it. I was pretty proud of myself for pulling this one off.

SlabGizor117: Oh hey *RealName*

soddd101: Yup?

SlabGizor117: yup what?

soddd101: You said oh hey *RealName*

SlabGizor117: No i didn't...

soddd101: And I was saying, yes, what do you want?

SlabGizor117: I never said anything

soddd101: ...Yes you did, and you know it

soddd101: ugh

soddd101: Whatever

SlabGizor117: no dude what the crap?

soddd101: I know you did, and you know too

SlabGizor117: I'll copy/psate it

soddd101: You're just kidding with me

So now I copy/paste "my side" of the story, excluding saying hi to him:

(This was part of an earlier conversation, to show that there was nothing before him saying "Yup?")

The conversation continues:

soddd101: to tell when you're lying

SlabGizor117: there's no way

soddd101: Because since it took you that long to post that

soddd101: you must have erased the message

soddd101: ugh, this is stupid

SlabGizor117: Dude I don't know how to prove it but I didn't say it

soddd101: Here

SlabGizor117: no dude copy/paste takes more than like two seconds

So he proceeds to show me how long it takes to copy/paste the conversation:

soddd101:

*Edited out for length and confusion, he just copy/pasted it back to show how little time it took to do so compared to me having to edit out where I actually said hi.*

Back to the conversation:

SlabGizor117: you have to highlight everything, right click, copy, go back to the chat box, right click, paste

soddd101: See? ugh

SlabGizor117: Well yeah it would show up on yours, how would you know to respond?

SlabGizor117: oh

SlabGizor117: wait

SlabGizor117: I think I know what it is

soddd101: This is getting really annoying

SlabGizor117: *Slab'sBrother* is messing with my iPad, he might've done it

soddd101: Ugh maybe

soddd101: Whatever

SlabGizor117: here I'll go ask him

SlabGizor117: lol he said he was

SlabGizor117: Now I have to change my password though...

soddd101: xD

SlabGizor117: I hate it when they do that crap

soddd101: I bet

soddd101: I wonder why he said that tho

So I wasn't sure what to say after that to keep it going, but I'd love to try this again. Let me know if you have any ideas on what to say, although it's been a good while since we talked. Also, if you have any other funny ideas to mess with him, let me know.

As far as the confusion, I assume you mean with copy/paste. I tried to convince him by copy/pasting what I "saw" and took out me actually saying hi, but it took longer to find that line and take it out. So, he kinda figured that out and copy/pasted what he saw to show me how long it took, which I knew already.

I guess it's not that funny, I just thought it was because I'm not good at this and I was, like I said, kinda proud of the fact that I pulled it off, and, I don't... really have anywhere else to share this... XD

I realize now it's kinda pointless, but whatever.

Hey Slab,

Transcripts are a hard way to share humor. The reader generally has to know the subject or at least the personalities of the people involved to understand the joke. Not your fault. Just how it it is sometimes. With that said, good for you trying to joke your friend and for sharing with the entire internet for forever.
