Probes disappear (and can't control RCS?)

I'm having a couple issues, likely stuff I don't know since I haven't played for 2 or 3 updates (last update I played on was asteroids).

Anyways whenever I have a probe, be it a lander or satellite, it vanishes when I return to the space center. I can never find it again, it's like I ended the flight but I did not. What gives?

Also I noticed while making some probe controlled fuel tanks for delivery, I can no longer turn with RCS. translate up/down/left/right still works, but I can't rotate. That also happens with the station I built, but if I turn on SAS and RCs no monopropellant gets used at all and no jets fire.

Are probes off in the map filters? Try mousing over the top edge of the screen.

How did I not realize that lol.

Well that's one thing fixed, maybe I'm also just being stupid about the RCS somehow. I feel they changed how it works now though maybe.

Mechjeb can still use it for rotation and tilting, but I can't, it doesn't assist the SAS modules anymore.

No idea on the RCS, unless mechjeb is overriding it somehow, or fine control is on, they are supposed to auto balance with fine control but you tend to lose a lot of power, and the jets are hard to see.

I think they did actually get separated [no note in the RCS block configuration], but I can't crack open the effect files to say so confidently
