Docking mode does not switch to translation

The translation movement mode is not selected when switching to docking mode. Manually enabling it does not work either.

However the normal keys for translation still function.

I have a few mods installed but none of them affect movement modes.

Is it an old settings.cfg? Some bindings changed with 1.0, try renaming it so KSP makes a new one.

It isn't an issue of keybindings, the translation movement mode does not function. Instead, it is still possible to stage while the docking panel is open.

EDIT: ...and now I noticed you've already solved this problem for someone else directly below this thread, apologies for my lack of observation.
