FINALLY! A successful (proof-of-concept) flight test for my Piggy-backed reusable space plane design.

Not really a succesfull proof of concept... due to KSP's system where object despawn and you can only control 1 plane at a time.

Your drone despawned in the lower atmosphere...

You'll need to get both craft above 23 km to stop that from happening... then you need to get 1 craft to orbit(or at least a high apoapsis) before the other gets below 23km...then you need to land and recover the one at 23 km... ideally back at KSC for full refund value, but then it needs a lot of fuel, because you'll travel pretty far when getting over 23km and at high speed to launch a spaceplane.

Ive never been able to get that to work competitively with a pure SSTO.

And then once you get that spaceplane to space... what does it do?
