How long is your initial load time ?

Around 25 minutes and 28 seconds with Realism Overhaul and all the suggested mods ... (3 GB in GameData folder)

• 8 GB of RAM
• Intel Core i5-3350P CPU @ 3.10GHz
• 64 Bits Windows 10 with KSP 64 bits
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660
• (I don't know my hard disk specs but it's not a SSD)

I only use 3 mods and my load time is about 1 minute and 6 seconds.

The load time doesn't hurt that much - I just do other things while it loads. The thing that actually hurts is the scene change times. If you want to hop between scenes frequently - that is somewhat of an annoyance.

Thus I do wonder if a switch to a more modern processor (like i5/i7 skylake) would dramatically change things for me.

I have 84 Mods installed and since I installed KerbalGalacticExpansion my loading time literally becomes infinit. No joke, I've let the game load my Save over Night and in the next morning it was STILL loading

On my desktop with a completely stock game, it firstly takes up to five minutes from when clicking on the KSP icon for the loading screen to even appear, but then takes like two for the game to load. So around 7 minutes in total. When I have mods, up to 15 mins. On my laptop, up to 15 mins stock, and sometimes 25 mins with mods installed.
