Not out yet, but the changelog has been posted for the upcoming patch.

There will be livestreams tomorrow.

Really looking forward to these bits in particular:

• Some normal enemies have been given new AI. (expert mode)
  
• Bosses have been given new AI. (expert mode)
  
• Enemy Banners now empower players nearby when facing the same enemy displayed on the banner.
  
• Bosses will drop Treasure Bags containing powerful expert exclusive items to reward those up to the challenge. (expert mode)
  
• The new randomly-triggered Slime Rain event is now included.
  
• Added Minecart, Mount, Pet and Grappling Hook slots.
  
• A new friendly NPC - The Tax Collector - will join you if rescued.
  
• Accessory dyes now apply to particle effects spawned from them.
  
• You now craft Cursed, Demon, Frost, Ichor, and Ultrabright Living Fire Blocks.
  

And of course there will be 2 new events, new enemies, and new items. Guess poor ol' Jeb's gonna have to cool his heels for a few days while I see what those cultists are up to.

Oh i bought the game yesterday (yes, exams made me miss the steam sales ) and i wasn't even aware that there was an update going on !

I fon't expect it to de-orientate me though, since i only know very little about the game... it's more focused on advanced-game elements, right ?

If I recall correctly, 1.3 (AKA Lunar Update) is the last big update for the game.

They did say this already for 1.1 and still they decided to update to 1.2. Now 1.3
