I wonder does Squad plan to make other sciency games like KSP?

KSP is on my fav games i like science, it's so little games based on actual science.

I wonder does is any game that allow us to "play a doctor" (pun not intended )

I mean game that allow us to be surgeon.

As a kid I had two dreams to be an astronaut or a doctor, especially a surgeon.

I wonder if there's a simulator that allows us to be a doctor, I know that medical school is already too old, I'm almost 30 years

I'm sure it'll end up like Valve and Half-life 3.

But in all honesty, KSP would be timeless if Squad continues to migrate to newer versions of unity and add new features to it.

maybe that will make you happy, and FYI, I hated that game.

I highly doubt squad will put anywhere near as much effort into a new sciencey game.

Well, I think the market is pretty niched and cornered for science games. Not a lot of them are good, and not a lot of them get recognition. It is difficult to sell science for the mass. What discipline of science can SQUAD make a game about that is a great game material and haven't already been dominated by another competitor?

That and it's sequel are the only ones I've ever seen.

There's a DOS game called "Life And Death", it's a realistic "doctor simulator" that you can download from the webs and run on DOSBox, which IIRC is free. The graphics are not the best, but has nice gameplay.

There's also the Trauma Center series on the Nintendo DS - one of the better uses of the stylus imo.

Yes. It'll be called Kerbal Space Program 2; similar idea, but moved to a more suitable game engine (Space Engine, anyone?)

And I'd happily play it.
