Why would you do anything other that answer a? It's not too hard, just mess around with the node definitions in the cfg. It will go a lot faster if you go int gamedata>squad>parts and delete everything except the mk 1 command module and maybe a fuel tank.

How does this new engine look?

Ignore everything except the nozzle, my UZ unwrapping job was TERRIBLE.
