Where do you see KSP in version 2.0

I just don`t want KSP 2.0 to go down the cartoony, marketed to 8-12 year old route that has been the fate of many many games which then died due to dropping the actual people interested in a game like that just because the new marketing guy said "We have to appeal to a younger audience".

If it will be, I hope it will be based on n-body interaction system and have graphics and procedurality like Space Engine. That would be really awesome!

64-it / Unity 5 Stable, and that is it! Its time to stabilize the product, let the modders take over and think about Keral Space Program 2.

Development should NOT continue forever, and the modders are covering player needs at this point.

Like others have said, a stable 64-bit client so we can improve the game ourselves through mods. Squad could focus on bug fixes and minor adjustments (atmospheres and the like) once that's provided. Most of the other requested updates, like clouds, are already available through mods... but we're unable to use more than a fraction of available mods (perhaps not a single one, depending on the mod in question) without having to deal with stability issues or having to go linux/use the inherently unstable hacked win64 client.

If it happens, I'd have to imagine there'd be a custom engine, written from the ground-up to handle KSP.

Everything in the poll could happen in the existing game given enough time and the will to do it.
