KSP Crashes entire computer,

Whenever I play, it will shut the computer off and the fan will go crazy.

It doesn't BSOD but it doesn't turn off, it keeps on doing that! It's not a virus, because when I uninstalled KSP a long time ago because of that reason, it stopped!

What are the technical specifications of your computer?

I don't really know...

But it has an AMD Graphics card, Intel CPU and windows 7

Wow, that is ridiculous. That's 6 more than me...

What about your processor? At least you should have a 2 Gigahertz dual-core. I have a 3 Gigahertz quad-core, and I can run it fairly efficiently with that.

Here's an easy way to get the information we need to troubleshoot.

1. Press the windows key + R -the run program should pop up

2. In the text field type "dxdiag" without the ""

3. Press ok

4. A popup asking about drivers signatures may pop up, just press no.

5. A window titled DirectX Diagnostic Tool should appear.

From that window, either screenshot the System Information field and post it here or manually type the information.

Since 1.0.x i am experiencing constant crashes to desktop with KSP on my Mac... A few days ago i woke from my comps coolers running at maximum... After checking, i recognized, that 3 crashed instances of KSP were still active in the background, each producing a load of cpu usage... Well i was early enough to avoid damage to the hardware, that was already chilling at a cosey 82 degrees C. Since that incident, i check every time... And i have high expectations towards 1.1... Really.

This thread should be moved to the support forum. And OP copy your KSP folder somewhere else then delete and re-install from fresh, no mods or 64bit, does it still crash? Did it ever work or has it just started crashing?
