Hi all, as you all know by now, the game turned RP (yes, I admit, that game DID turn into a bit of an RP story),"War of Insanity" owned by Dark_Junior, has been locked by moderators. However, given the massive viewership and Captain_Sierra's very kind comment, I do believe that the story has gained a lot of popularity and some fans. I will admit that I was a major player in this and have contacted Dark_Junior about the problem, suggesting that he find a new location for the story. So, I have decided to create this page as a way for people to receive updates on the story's status and where I will personally post the URL to the story's new home, once it has been found. Also, this page will allow for the fans of the story to actually mingle with the major players and/or just comment on the story! Every now and again, after a major point is reached, we will take a breather, so we MAY need ideas for the next chapter! So, tell us what kind of story you want us to make for the the following chapter! Finally, I would like to thank the moderators, FIRST, for allowing the story to run for as long as it did on these forums. Also, in the closing of it, I would also like to thank Duo_Dex for just playing along in the closing!

The story so far:

A galactic war began. The dominant powers are, Junior, Sampa, Xannari, Trainengie, and Vinster.

They each claimed a portion of the galaxy. They started with petty attacks, bacon feasts, and gravity messing-around-with. The first major event occurred at the center of the galaxy, where Vinster’s colony, located inside an asteroid, went critical. After much effort, Vinster’s people scattered around the blast radius and resettled in the void in the middle of the galaxy.

Sampa and Xannari made a truce, and the galaxy was at peace as they settled into an era of no conflict. It ended as soon as Sampa began raiding small enemy targets that had settled. Then Xannari became suspicious. Xannari stole blueprints for a massive ship. Xannari was nearly arrested by Sampa but Xannari responded with a threat to destroy the flagship of Sampa’s fleet. Xannari escaped. Xannari eventually surrendered and rejoined Sampa.

Junior joined Sampa, and they traded technology and formed an alliance. Soon, Xannari began to show odd symptoms, such as speaking of the Great attractor, the most powerful gravitational force known to man, where she had made a colony.

Strange things began to happen: The Great Attractor showed signs of meeting the same fate as the center of the galaxy; Junior completed his signature particle shield.

Xannari accuses Vinster of causing the near collapse. From then on, Xannari became a warmonger. The center of the galaxy nearly exploded again, but Junior saved everyone. Junior, while investigating the disturbance, which Sampa later identifies as a wormhole, is ambushed. Junior and the ship barely survive the attack. Xannari snaps at this point and threatens everyone with missiles.

Junior recovers and Sampa and Xannari break their alliance. Sampa takes aggressive action against Xannari, who armed her missiles. Xannari attempted to assassinate Junior and his planet with an irradiating space ship.

A massive battle ensues after Junior recovers and saves the fleet from radiation death. The combined forces of Sampa and Junior fought against and eventually imprisoned Xannari. At this point, Junior and Sampa found the Galactic Alliance and make plans to build a central station: the Citadel. This heavily defended station is created and promptly destroyed by an unknown 3rd faction.

During the Battle for the Citadel, Junior is nearly killed when shot in the back, spending a week recovering. Shortly thereafter, Sampa cracks and sets out on a personal suicide mission to put an end to Xannari's insolence. Arriving at her base, Sampa wages a brief cyber war with Xannari and then confronts her one final time. Sampa fist-fights with Xannari, ending with Sampa shooting himself in the head (If Fallout New Vegas taught us anything, you can survive a bullet in the brain.) He eventually recovers with the help of Dark_Junior, Laythe_Dweller, and Xannari (who disappears shortly thereafter). After, the fleet constructs Citadel 2, a replacement. The Alliance welcomes a new era of peace.

oops, my bad on the prologue there!

This is... interesting.

Sounds a lot like something that transpired in my Junior High years over MANY cafeteria lunches. We actually had to hold a Geneva Convention of sorts at one point and ban weaponry that displaces space and/or time, because the galaxy was beginning to look like swiss cheese.

They pretty much gave me the ok to create this page as it does not go against the rules. This is just the homepage to the real story which is now off site!
