dreadmullet
This just goes to show that Kerbalkind can achieve any task if they set their minds to it.Next challenge: get a sperm whale into orbit.
The_Duck
After twenty or thirty attempts I got one into orbit!Apokee: 630 kmPerikee: 43 kmJust after first apokee: Just after first perikee: Second apokee: The rocket: The rocket has three stages:Stage 1 - 8x Model 221 solid fuel booster from NovaSilisko's packStage 2 - 8x vanilla liquid fuel engine each with 4 vanilla fuel tanksStage 3 - 4x KSP-30 solid fuel booster from Sunday Punch's packIt's stabilized by 8 vanilla SAS.A good fraction of the time this rocket shreds itself on launch because the connections between the 4 KSP-30's and the brick fail. Sometimes it makes it up, though. It handles horribly; pitching it over properly is a pain. And the final stage is solid fuel so I've no hope of getting a circular orbit. Girlinhat
Is that a .086 eccentricity? Your apo and peri are like 14x larger than the other. What the hell is keeping that Egyptian abomination of jet-fueled blasphemy in the sky?!
