Please remove the rep limit on Devs

I tried to rep Ted this morning, but it says I have to spread some around.

I understand that this is needed for regular users, but for devs? I feel like anyone should be able to give rep to any post by a dev without having to rep 10 other people first.

Any chance this can be changed?

Not really, there's only one setting.

Administrators are not limited in who they can give reputation to, but everyone else has a 5 user spread no matter who the recipient is.
