Goosey145 Posted June 7, 2012 Share Posted June 7, 2012 I managed to get the patcher to work when I had 15.0 and it updated to 15.1 but now I keep getting that darn getthreadcontext error. Brand new to the game and loving it BTW.13.3 is the free demo. If you want 15.2 with all the goodies (better graphics, spaceplanes, another moon etc.) you have to buy the game. sal_vager Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 Goosey145, there are known issues with the patcher and admin rights if you are running KSP from any Windows owned folder, what\'s likely happened to you is the patcher received permission on the first update, but is being denied permission on the second, so try unzipping it afresh to a folder you made yourself, even one on a second hard drive, and try patching again.It should work then, but it\'s also known not to start up immediately after patching, but it\'s still worked fine. It says I don\'t have enough free space, which is wierd because I have over 180GB not used.Why 15.2 can\'t be available at store?Sometimes it says I have to redownload the game, and I do so but it does not help in any way.Edit: I launched the patcher again and this time the patcher window showed this: \'Couldn\'t connect to the patch server\'.Edit2: After another try: \'Could not find the application when trying to execute the game!\' Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
