I'm sorry but I eat them. Often with a good meat dish, or integrated into a meat dish. I simply cannot hail vegetables and eat them at the same time.

(Also, I REFUSE to use the expression "veggie". Even though I am American, I vastly prefer the chiefly British expression "fruit and veg". Sounds a lot less childish than "veggie", plus it's quicker to say.)

Hey, I'm not a tremendous fan of veggies, but eating nothing but mac 'n' cheese paste and freeze-dried steak slabs for months would make me say :hailveggies: upon my triumphant return to Earth.

I would only be hailing vegetables for about five seconds though. After that, I would be eating them. And hailing something you're actively grinding to a pulp is a little weird.
