Who are you to decide this, I hear you asking, and here's the answer: No one. I was not elected, I just decided to do it. If you're unhappy with my decision, we can work something out. This is just my opinion, since there's no subjective way to judge "Quality" of crafts.

If anyone feels that their craft is missed because of any kind of time-zone difference, or any kind of difference in when spacecraft fridays is put up, tell me.

If your craft is really good and was made before, and someone posts in it within that week, then it will be considered. Just to clarify, I am not encouraging necros for the sake of bumping your craft.

Man, I wish I could do this for the the next two Fridays. I'm pretty skilled at BBcode and I've got nothing to do here. Sadly, I am going on a vacation with no Wi-Fi, and I will not be back until the 30th. Wait, I might be able to do it on the 4th of next month...

Yup. There's no specific criteria though, that's the reason there's a disclaimer.

So what happened to MRS's thread of the exact name? Isn't this his baby?

Also, this concept has been tried at least three or four times on this forum and the result is the same each time. People get grumpy and pissed off at the choices and then people get turned off by it.

Maybe a new one each week? Makes more sense to keep one thread though.

Anyway I appreciate the mention, if this inspires anyone to download my craft just know I'm working on upgrades for the BDArmory update. I'm working on outfitting all the craft with radar and radar guided weapons.

Also my new Stealth Raptor will be my flagship, and hopefully truly stealth.

There's a disclaimer, and it's based on opinion. If they get annoyed at someone for having a preference.. then that's just pretty grumpy of them. And honestly, it's a good way of making the new builders shine. I've seen so many well-made crafts that didn't get a single reply/rep, becauee they were a new builder. Ah well, it's just what I think.

IMHO, I appreciate their work, but yes, I think it would be better to merge these two threads.

To be fair each time this kind of thread is started there are always disclaimers and what-not. The outcome is always the same. I don't care either way I am just surprised people don't see the signs..

Nah, add a date tag to them, and we can even keep changing the guy that does it as people go on vacation/life gets in the way. The more informal the better! I really like this about this thing, it's just a fun little "hey, look at what you might have missed this week on the forums". If more than one people are doing it, the criticisms for favoritism and such (and the variety of crafts) gets short of addressed. And since it's informal as hell, you shouldn't feel left out if you don't make it. The only "rule" would be to let the last guy that did it select the judge for the next week from the volunteers. And if the custom dies, it dies, probably because it's not doing its job.

Rune. I volunteer to hold the torch next week, for one week, if that helps.
