I rarely dream, but i\'ve had a couple freaky ones.

I vaguely remember one where i was at a farm (for no apparent reason) and suddenly i realised i could fly by flapping my arms, so i took off and flew over some fields until AA-Gun Vehicles seemingly from the WW2 period started shooting after me, so i tried to take cover in some trees but ended up flying into them, then i woke up halfway out of bed, i don\'t know.

Well, I remember that when I was around seven, I had this recurring dream. In would be going to the toilet in the middle of the night, and in the actual house there was a door leading to the hot press (boiler room, or that room in which we control the heating and leave towels and bedsheets in). I would just be almost at the door, when the doors of the hot press would fly open and this short little witch would come out screaming 'I am your worst nightmare!'and start throwing fireballs at me. The dream always ended when I either reached my bed or one of the fireballs hit me.

The weird part was the witch. Dressed in a grim reaper robe, short, face like Gruntilda\'s from Banjo Kazooie (who always terrified the fuck out of me when I was tiny) with a scythe.

Actually, the first and only time I\'ve ever lucid dreamed was during one of those, when I was eight. I turned round and started throwing fireballs back ^.^

I had a dream that we killed Bin Laden. The night we actually killed him.. I was asleep before the president came on TV... He was in a cave, a troop of soldiers burst into the cave and shoot him in the head... Of course I was one of the soldiers that raided the cave, I was pushed down a deep hole in the cave. RIGHT before I hit the ground I jumped out of bed. Went down to get a drink, my sister told me Bin Laden was killed... I was like WHAT?! I just has a dream we killed him.. I also had a recurring dream I stole a car and was in a pursuit chase with my sister in the car... I lost control of the car and hit a building.

I had a dream that this weird ball of fluff with eyes kept nudging against my leg, and wouldn\'t stop. I eventually took to pushing it away with my foot, but it kept trying. Then I started pushing it away with the underside of my foot - its eyes visibly got more bulgy like it was out of a cartoon. Then when I stopped, it morphed into a short cat with ocelot fur patterns.

Naturally, I did not kick it any more.

I decided that morning when I woke up and realised it was a dream that I wanted an ocelot.

I have an ocelot myself :) good experience, have you gotten yourself one now?

(Also, you may want to practice leaving the cat alone, because you\'re gonna want to snuggle it 24/7)

I frequently have dreams of witnessing a plane crash. The worst part is waking up that morning only to see in the news that a plane had crashed. It happens often enough to creep me out really bad when I have them.

Arrr!

Capt\'n Skunky

I have the same thing... it always seems to be at my school, too. Might be something to do with seeing the Vigilant gliders rapidly descending and their little engines are silent from where I\'m watching. Until the day I do that maneuver I\'ll always be scared when I see it, and that\'s where the dreams of big jets gliding in over my school come from. I think.

Sadly not.

I do have a British semi-longhair [in other words, they had no idea what she was] cat called Bess. She is the most fluffy cat that one of the administrators at the Kids Club I used to go to had ever seen.

Also, I once had a dream where air conditioning units were attacking astronauts with tentacles, and dead mice were falling from holes in the ceiling.

I\'ve had multiple really weird dreams, especially when I was very young and had some sort of sleep problems or something. Nowadays I just have normal weird dreams :P

When I was two or three, I had a recurring nightmare where there was this giant, evil caterpillar around my bed that was trying to trick me into thinking I was its friend and was going to kill me. I would always end up running to the door and sleepwalk there as well :P It got so bad that my parents had to start locking my bedroom door from the outside for a few weeks to keep me in, which only added to the fear in the dream.

Then, when I was seven or eight, I had a dream that came a few times in a row where I was in a sport stadium filled with people. Sounds normal, right? Well, there was this giant, floating cartoonish-looking mouth hanging in the center of the arena, speaking in EXTREMELY loud, sort of mechanical-sounding screeches that were painful to my ears. I guess this one was a bit of a lucid dream as well, because at one point I was able to control the dream long enough to realize that I was dreaming and realize there really was no noise at all. Don\'t ask me, it\'s a weird dream for a reason =P After this revelation, I never had that same dream again.

And then a few months ago, I had perhaps the weirdest dream of my life. My memory of it is a bit fuzzy, but this is what happened:

I was walking down the street next to a forest, when a random oversized chinchilla came running out of the woods and stood next to me. I picked up the chinchilla, and suddenly it seemed a lot smaller, and could fit easily in the palm of my hand. Then, a completely random taxi pulled up, and a pizza man jumped out, took the (now full-sized again) chinchilla from me, and drove off. In the taxi.

Suddenly, I was looking at myself from a third-person point of view, and there was a minimap in the corner of my vision, like in video games. It had a trail on it following the pizza man, so I hopped in car that apparently appeared right then and sped off after it. When I finally caught up, the taxi had crashed at a curve leading onto a highway. I got out of my car, opened the driver-side door of the taxi, and out jumped the chinchilla, once again tiny. I picked it up and drove off.

Then I was suddenly at my school, once again in first person, and the chinchilla was about the size of a dog now. I was near my school\'s band room, and for no reason I walked over and opened my band locker. Inside it was the chinchilla that had just been standing right next to me, and when it came out this time it was even bigger (Nearly the size of a horse, so pretty freaking huge) and had wings. Sadly, I woke up before I could ride it off into the sunset and live happily ever after with my chinchilla horse pet.

I\'ve had some strange 'dreams.' Most of them were when I was semi-asleep:

The oldest occurrence that I can remember is when I had stayed up late playing a Mario game when I was ~12 on a school night. I remember dreaming about jumping from mushroom to mushroom trying to get away from something. I woke up to find my parents trying to coerce me out of bed. Turns out I sub-consciously thought I could avoid them by jumping around.

The strangest happened to be in a cartoon world that happened to have a large, comical hole in the sky. I remember passing through it and waking up. I fell asleep again - but I was actually aware that I was asleep and managed to wake myself of my own accord. It was weird.

The most recent was a vivid dream. It wasn\'t a visual dream, but an auditory one. I kept hearing intermittent, computer-generated sounds. Things like simple tones and sweeps, but they were really clear.

I had one last night where I became stuck in 2D, and everything around me was 3D. It\'s one of the most bizarre dreams I\'ve ever had. It\'s hard to even explain. Sound and light characteristics changed dramatically. If I was the creative type, I\'d make a sketch of it. Unfortunately, though, I have the artistic talent of a chimpanzee.

My dreams can be perfectly normal or so strange. I\'ve only had a few dreams that are just plain fucked up before, but I\'d rather not share them. Have a strange one instead.

I was in my dream doing my dream thing. Somebody offered these little red crystals to me and I ate them. Later, gravity lost effect on me and I was jumping around my house floating and having fun. I ran into the wall and hurt my shoulder and woke up. End.

Another one was of me meeting my girlfriends sister that she had been discussing with me over the whole summer. I walked over to the Washington Monument (I live in Kansas). There, her sister which I hadn\'t seen yet rode over to me on a white stallion that glowed like the morning sun. We rode it over to her house (Which was also a Washington Monument) and swam in gold coins. We brought a pile to a grocery store and gave them all away for some candy.

All in all, I think I played way too much Fallout and was thinking too much about meeting somebody.

I dreamed of something scary for two times. It was our old laptop, standing in a dark corner of a room. There was some sort of virus (not a real computer virus!) that grew a sort of poisonous cobweb over the keyboard (stupid for typing!). Oh and don\'t touch the mouse, you\'ll instantly be infected!

Most scary thing is that I took the risk and wrote a reply to the screenshot thread... I can\'t remember the first ending, but I think I didn\'t really survive.

Ah and during the last Gaza war, I was dreaming of standing at a field and watching missiles fly all the night. For some reason, I liked it.
