Hello from Swissie-land

Hey there, the name is Daf and I am playing for a few months now. KSP is the only game I play in years. I was a console guy as a teenager, NES and that stuff, but when I saw KSP I had enough justification to support my sons gamer PC project. :)

Got really into the game after the 1.0 launch... only to find out that some of the designs and ideas I saw on the internet that got me hooked (cupcake landers to mention the most noteworthy) would not work anymore. Bummer, but what can we do. It's still heaps of fun.

Another issue I have is that the game doesen't seem to recognize my joystick axis or throttle. It's a Extreme 3D Pro, and the buttons work okay. Just the axis are not seen by KSP, and yeah, it works for other games. Some help there would be greatly appreciated.

All the best

Daf

Hello Daf, and welcome to the forums!

While some of the old designs and ideas no longer work, there are always amazing new designs and ideas appearing. That's one of the greatest things about this game and this community.

As far as the joystick question goes, maybe try asking in the the Support section of the forums. I use keyboard only, myself.

Happy landings!

Thanks for the welcome, Starhawk.

Yeah, I agree, the game is still fun. Different designs and ideas for different challenges. And yes, I added my joystick question to a similar thread in the support section already.

cheers

Daf

I'm afraid that I'm not quite sure what you're asking.

If you're asking about the meaning of the various abbreviations used in the forums and the game, you could try doing a search of the KSP Wiki Page for the abbreviation. Most of them should be mentioned (and hopefully defined) there.

Hope this helps.

Happy landings!
