Summer is ending in a few hours.

Darn it.

I had a great time on the KSP forums this summer, and I want to thank everyone.

I haven't posted much, but I have been here.

I might have time for the forums this year, I will post on and off. I don't know right now.

Funny to think so much fun ends with hopping in bed and going to sleep.

So, bye everyone! (For Now!)

I can't believe how fast this summer blew by. Then again, the years in general have been zipping by. I'm getting old.

Time flies when you're having fun - or not.

Time warp comes with age - beware.

Tell me, does it get faster and faster as you get older or does it plateau somewhere? I'm young, and it's already getting to the point where a month feels like a week and a week feels like a couple days.

If it plateaus, I've not hit it yet. Really can't explain it, you just get to a point where you realize that years have gone by and you're like 'huh?'... the days just start melding into one.

I'm not old, and that's happening to me....

It's 2015... Where was 2014!?

Truthfully, I thank KSP for helping my summer fly by!!! Seriously.

I'm on disability, and my biggest problem most days is not going stir-crazy! I would love to go back to work, but my doctors, the Court, and Workman's Comp would flip out if I tried. My brain works fine, but my back resembles a pretzel... So here I sit all day....

Anyway, when I was introduced to KSP earlier this spring, it offered me something most games don't... a chance to really use my brain!!!

Now I can at least pretend my KSP career is a job of sorts, and gives me something new, different and challenging to occupy my day.

yeah... for the first time in years my summer flew by... Thanks to the Kerbals!!!! :)

Wha'd you do, fall off a roof!?

All jokes aside, some games you might like are SpaceChem, the Portal series, Cities: Skylines, and Rollercoaster Tycoon 2. They all require you to use your head in various ways, Portal & SpaceChem being Spatial & Visual awareness, Cities: Skylines being budgeting & a little bit of "How can I fit this here" problem solving, and RCT 2 being a little bit of S+V awareness & Budgeting. And trust me, whenever I was sick as a dog as a kid (Once I spent a week in the bathroom [sleeping, eating, etc.] because I had a heroic stomach thing with violent nausea; I was very sick as a kid in general, always coming down with something), RCT 2 made the time pass by like an F1 car would pass a bicyclist. It also helped me with any pain; RCT engrosses you and gets you thinking about barely anything else. It'll also run fabulously on your computer, I don't know what computer you have but I know that it'll run fabulously.

RCT 2: http://store.steampowered.com/app/285330/

And If you need ANY help with RCT2 (other than installing it), PM me. I've been playing it for close to 13 years, and while I may not know everything, I know enough to do well in it. I know most of the ins and outs of it.

Not a roof... although it looks like it. The bottom vertibre is about 10mm out of whack, and the rest of my spine is tettering on it... after 3 MRI's the Dr's best guess is birth defect I made worse working for a septic company (of all things...)

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions! I'm not familiar with a couple, except RCT... I have RCT 3 platinum, and love it! I'm also a huge fan of Sims2, and still have a working mega-hood. Also flight sims, preferably non-combat, unless it's really historical.

Anyway, I don't want to de-rail this too much... back to summer
