Hello everyone!

We live in a digital era, and like many (indie) games Kerbal Space Program is only available as a digital download. Because by standards of the 21st century most of the development team is 'old' we feel we have a right to reminisce and wonder what would've happened without all the digital progress of the last few years, and what KSP would look like if it had shipped in a boxed copy like the good games, you know, from way back when...

A contest<img src="http://i.imgur.com/NDazSY7.png" style="float: right; padding-left: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px;">

We want you to design a box cover for Kerbal Space Program just like, you know, the games from way back when had, and just like Steam user catch meâ„¢ did as seen here. We'll leave the style of physical copy up to you, meaning it can be a DVD box, a metal tin or even a USB stick. The goal is simply to impress us with your artwork.

The prizes

The best entries will get featured by us on our Facebook and Twitter accounts throughout the contest. The winner and runner ups will receive a Poster autographed by the KSP team in Mexico. We also have two smaller autographed posters ready for the runners up.

The rules

To make sure there's no confusion about who and what, there's a few simple rules to this contest:

 • All entries must follow the Community Rules and be submitted as a reply to this topic.
 • You can enter as many times as you like, though each entry should be a unique piece of artwork.
 • You can only enter with your own creations.
 • The contest runs from now until Thursday, September 17th 23:59 UTC. The winners will be announced the next day.
 • We reserve the right to unilaterally make a decision about the validity of an entry.
 • The winning entries will be picked by Squad, but feel free to support your favourites!

... do you still remember the good old boxed copy games from way back when?
