Time-Warp while Alt+Tabbed

Is there a way of having time-warp continue while alt+tabbed? I'm using -popupwindow which is great, but it still interrupts time-warp.

This is mainly just a problem because I'm playing with KCT and without alt+tabbing I have a fair bit of sitting around waiting for things to build (I have a very short attention span).

if you dont alt-tab and just overlay something over KSP (because KSP is not always on top of default) it will continue time warp

Pretty sure if you use the launcher option of fake full screen it will continue to time warp. At least it used to. In Linux it will carry on like normal if you tab to something else.

I think that you have an option either on the game launcher or the in-game settings (at startup) called "Simulate background process" that let's you do just that. I have that option checked and it let's me keep timewarping while alt-tabbed.

So it turns out my time-warp continues if I alt+tab while controlling a craft...but if I'm in the space centre it always interrupts it...Huh? Any ideas how I can change that?
