NateDaBeast
Have you tried increasing the speed on the counter-rotating hub, and added counterweights equal to the mass of the mass on the hubs? This is my craft showing in the first picture the top rotation hub settings, the second being my counter-rotating hub.http://imgur.com/a/4rvCtPossible you could upload a video that explains how to properly get something rotating or link a video ?Thanks
Astronut25
I cannot seem to change the fuel mode for the Supernova Fusion Engine. When changed in the VAB it just resets, and there is no button in flight.

Astronut25
Thanks, I didn't see that info.I have tried to attach the rocket parts, but the "upgrade engine" option didn't come up. Could that be due to being in sandbox mode (I usually test designs in sandbox)
Angelo Kerman
Hm. It should be available in sandbox. I'll have to look when I get home.

Angelo Kerman
Taking a look folks. Yup, just what I thought. I had set the upgrade function to EVA only. The RP reason was that you had to do go out and tinker with the engine to upgrade it. The RocketParts are supposed to be stored on the vessel. It costs 10k RocketParts and 600 Science. I'll change that so you can upgrade from inside the ship as well.- - - Updated - - -Yeah, I can't figure it out either. Also, Radially attached liquid hydrogen containers with fuel lines won't feed into the Supernova. Please help?I haven't seen that one, I'll investigate as well. Thanks for the report Edited October 9, 2015 by Angel-

Gumby1973
Haven't been able to get water or mineral mining to work with a Radial Drill. The options for Start Mineral Drill and Start Water Drill don't show up. I've tried a few tests on Kerbin, and with an existing saved game with a drill on Minmus. I'm wondering if the name = ModuleResourceHarvester needs to be something different for the Mineral Drill and Water Drill? Running with KSP 1.0.4. Gumby1973
I can't get the rotating hub to rotate for some reason ?EDIT :Pretty sure I figured it outI'm having the same issue. I have infernal robotics installed, the parts included with infernal robotics work just fine, but the rotating hub, counter-rotating hub don't seem to be recognized by infernal robotics, can't right click on them to bring up controls. Any pointers for how you got them to work?

One thing I'm looking into-and am not sure how to resolve yet- is the performance lagging with some of the parts. I think the trusses might be slowing things down, but I'm not sure. I've learned a lot about Unity since making those trusses, things like mesh colliders take a higher performance hit than box colliders. It may take some redesigning to fix. That leads me to my question: For the trusses, how many people use more than two sides to attach stuff?
