leopardenthusiast
I have a ton of broken craft around the shore, and they\'re getting in the way of some of my stranger experiments. I\'ve been trying to make an anti-debris missile, but it\'s not going too well - they always tip over and explode. I\'ve been using NovaPunch already, so if an addon can help, say so and I\'ll install it.I\'ve tried two things - A vertically launched liquid fuel missile, and a disgusting hybrid between a spaceplane and a missile.Any ideas? I don\'t want to just delete my persistence file, but I DO need to get rid of this junk pretty badly before it either crashes the game or breaks one of my amphibious vehicles. cardgame
There is a laser+targeting plugin somewhere that can lock onto junk, fire the laser and overheat it to the point of combustion. Brutally effective at removing debris, but I don\'t have the link or remember what exactly it\'s called, sorry.

My minilaptop had that.

Volt
Note that if you submerge the SUNBEAM it can hit those underwater debris pieces that show up as an \'X\' crosshair otherwise. Use Damned Robotics if you want to go above a few m/s, though, because the laser doesn\'t like moving underwater.
sal_vager
I didn\'t know you had to submerge the Sunbeam, I wondered why it wouldn\'t hit stuff bobbing off the coast. Also, if you are feeling lazy, you can use Romfarers Lazor to target and self destruct debris from the comfort of the launchpad, it\'ll let you choose stuff from a menu once you are connected to the tracking station. sss
There is a partical cannon, but sunbeam works best.also, why dont you just put a command pod on top, put a booster bellow it and then some fins for control? that 25 sec booster should do you just fine.
