"Drill-O-Matic" Missing

I've seen a lot of screenshots and information about mining using the Drill-O-Matic. However, I can't seem to find the part in the Tech Tree in Career mode OR anywhere when playing in sandbox mode. Is this a special part that requires a certain achievement or contract to unlock?

It's in the Utilities tab. The little thumbnail looks like a ladder to me.

Do you have any ISRU parts, like the dish, converter, or ore tanks? My first thought is, are you playing the current version of the game?

I have the fuel converter, but I don't have the drill. I'm on version 1.0.4. No idea why it isn't there...

I'd say reinstall. Back up the saves folder and you won't lose any progress.

I agree that it seems to look like a ladder.

You can also look in the GameData\Squad\Parts\Resources\RadialDrill directory and make sure that's there. I would agree with 5thHorseman. Installing the game again will likely clear it up. Are you using any add-ons? Sometimes they remove or modify parts, which can cause issues if the add-on doesn't install properly.

Thanks guys! A simple reinstall fixed the issue. I think this may have happened because I had the demo installed prior to purchasing. I uninstalled the game, went into my steam folder and remove the folders for Kerbal Space Program and Kerbal Space Program Demo. I think reinstalled and everything is there!
