DMagic Orbital Science science parts glitches

I love DMagic Orbital Science, but occasionally the parts get stuck in a weird glitch where the animation plays for them opening up, and then just repeats over and over. No science is obtained and nothing happens when I try the context menu items for the glitched part.

Seems I can save game and reload and that sometimes remedies it, but not always.

Hmm, did some checking, and it may be a conflict/bug with "For Science!". I turn it off and the glitched DMagic part works normally.

I'm having a problem with the part that needs to be touching the surface to sample it.  It says cannot use at this distance from surface, even though it's touching the ground.
