how about making the planets able to move so you could move gilly to kerbin or something.

and what class would the sun be? like a zzzz class or something?

Kerbol = 19,362,604,137,278,585,000,000,000 tons = AM Class asteroid = 1.375x10^25-6.187x10^25

I think that Scott manley video might have been done before mining was in the game. So, I wonder if that addition would change the answer. If you don't have to take as much fuel maybe you could pull of a slower push hypothetically if it wasn't on rails. Or a much lighter vehicle with really good mining.

Not sure if anyone else suggested this yet but if we get big enough asteroids we could have catastrophic missions that if you don't do you loose your career or science game. Even sandbox if you give the option to check it. Could be interesting. Assuming asteroids aren't big enough now to excuse this. I assume they would need to be big enough to ensure the destruction of all kerbal life. How big would that need to be given the modified gravity and other stats of KSP?

If /10 size is in effect for asteroids, then you need a 10 km asteroid in term of diameter (a.k.a 100 km asteroid IRL) to end pluricellular life. So, basically the plan is hurling OPM's Hale away from orbit and setting it on a collision course with Kerbin.

10km is actually about the minimum size of the Chicxulub impactor, which we think killed the dinosaurs (together with about 75% of all plant/animal life), so I imagine you could wipe tiny Kerbin out with something a little smaller than that! Then again, things travel a lot slower in KSP... and 1/2 the velocity = 1/4th the KE, so you might be right... might even need to be larger actually.
