Liftoff would be at 1400 EST, one week from today- Saturday, November 21.

I think I can make it then. I'm working on getting my RO install all working. All good ATM.

Maybe after this, we could even launch voyager, and other things, and build a space program until the current one. Maybe build an ISS?

Mk had one, but with him out that will leave us without one, but thanks to you we may still be ok.

You had a crushing blow man. Losing a relative is never easy. You take whatever time you need, but if you need someone to talk to or if you think working on this project will get your mind off things, let us know. Whatever is best for you man. We all understand.

Ok new idea. I want to perform a Saturn 1- Gemini mission. Where we will launch a 2 man Gemini capsule into orbit and try to perform mission operations between the crew and MC. The reason I want to do this instead of a full 3 man mission is because we still need a CMP.

This means SparkyFox, someone who wanted to be commander needs to get his port forwarding setup. Can anyone help him with that?

As Booster, I think I should point out that the Gemini missions were launched on the Titan II GLV, not the Saturn I.

FASA does have Titan parts, so we shouldn't have a problem there. It gets about 5 Gs on launch, though, so that's a concern.

For a long-term mission (as in, over two days), we should be concerned about electrical supply. The FASA parts have a generator, but I'm not sure if it works on LOX and LH2. But that's EECOM's job, so I'll leave this to him.

I am aware that they used the Titan II for the Gemini launches, but I wanted to fuse the two worlds to maximize our experiences gained from this mission.

If power is a serious concern, we can launch an Agena ahead for them to dock with. Great docking experience for the CDR and LMP anyway.

Ok, that sounds like a good idea. I also think that your idea about sending up the Agena is good, too. It will give us a chance to practice rendezvous and proper launch timing.

When are the Gemini and Agena launches scheduled ? So that I know when to make a plan for the crew and have time to check everything concerning the crew with everyone.
Also a plan with the general mission objectives would be nice, so that we can set up a duration for the mission, a detailed plan...

Exactly.

We will time warp the in game time to when it needs to be, but leave it at about T-2h to liftoff. Specific times are still to be decided. I'm thinking launch next Monday? During thanksgiving week?

The Agena will launch first, on Monday(?), then the Gemini will come the next day or so.

I'd start planning now and making sure it can work.

I will not be available next Tuesday in the evening (GMT), so we'll have to launch the Gemini the next day if the Agena is launched on Monday.

Alright. So set it for Monday at 2pm EST (14:00). Ignition at 1:59:56pm EST.

Can somebody else try to launch it?

I can't seem to get the RSS install to work...

But then... who shall stream/play the game?

Can somebody take over the role of game streamer? My PC is not very powerfull, i can however provide server support for DMP.

I'd be able to stream it, but I would have to be a bit later on Monday. Maybe even later in the week.

There is no server for this group (yet)... i might have to start up a third one...

I could set t up. I have a Linux server, and could install Mono. I've dome it on Mac, and this would be wired via ethernet.

I need to set up the DMP side. I have the server, but not the DMP software set up yet. I will send when it is set up.
