Can you remove the stock fairings from the staging menu?

It doesn't seem like you can, but I thought I'd ask. I'm using some stock fairings as part of a fuselage of a drone aircraft, to help protect various delicate bits and to make it look a bit prettier, and I don't want to accidentally stage it off!

I don't think so, so far only decouplers and docking ports have toggleable staging. You could lock the staging sequence with Alt-L to prevent accidental staging.

I drag things like that up to stage 0 so I can space-stage through everything else and don't have to worry about those.

Note you can just add a field to the MODULE for any module that activates on staging, to turn on the toggle.
