I made a reliable Kraken drive a while ago, which involved speeding into Kerbin's atmosphere as fast as possible with huge heat shields, and hitting water at a high speed in 4x warp.

 

Just hit the earth with the last stage that has RCS for maneuvering, and the heat shields for survival re-entry, sadly I deleted it a while ago. It just continues accelerating in surface mode of course, but the actual speed is nearly 3C, and I had a better, faster version, but it was not reliable, and only worked once.

I just thought of something. I have two IDEAS for K-Drives. 

One: jam a ship down the mohole, and then activate a ton of legs and it hopefully goes shooting out the top. 

Two; Slam two ships together at OPM returning speeds. (About maybe 5000-10000 m/s, although faster is better) 

These are IDEAS.

I think that if ships collided at those speeds, the game wouldn't even register them hitting. It does that even at LKO speeds, so I wouldn't imagine that it would work at a return trajectory from Plock or something.

I just uploaded a working kraken drive in pics above.. only works 50 percent of the time.

 

I'm not sure how well I can replicate anything here.
