I'd love to donate some .crafts because heavens knows I have thousands of old ones that I'd love to share with others, but there's a few things we need to know to make things simpler.

1) any standardization measurements (such as docking port heights, weight/part count constraints)

2) do you want just the craft/building, or a craft with lifter and means to make it to laythe.

3) what type of craft do you want? Are you wanting a command building, science module, hab, solar or comms array? Do you want rovers and boats and the like? And what do you want first?

Let us know and I'll be sure to share.

1) If it's an MKS module, just use the appropriate MKS base with those amazing crew tubes (the KAS ones). If not, I will post the .craft subassembly file soon (2.5m size). It's basically just a large reaction wheel with landing legs and ladders strapped to it. No docking ports, because I'll be using KAS pipe end points and MKS KAS Crew tubes.

2) I have a lifter, just make sure Rockomax Brand Decouplers can attach on the top and bottom.

3) Once a module is safely on Laythe and connected to the colony, I will ask for another. Right now, we need a long-range rover to scout out a site and supply modules to drop down beforehand.

I once tried something like this, I couldn't hold it together, the craft never got by a rough draft.

Good luck!

Don't worry, with all these brilliant people on the forums, the modules will be awesome and we can come up with solutions to problems as they come up.

Ill get to work on it. I've never landed on laythe though... so I'm not entirely sure how to work that out.. we'll see what i come up with

Don't sweat it, I made a landing system craft, too!

Please use only the above mods. Thanks!

u should add the WBI pathfinder mod, great for colonys, and the worskhop mod, too let u build parts onsite, and the extra planetary launchpads mod, to let u build ships onsite.

I wanted to make it more challenging by having everything shipped from Kerbin. I have finished the KAL 9000 command module and I will launch it into orbit today.
