What are these boxes around two of my craft?

So I first noticed these last night when I was cleaning up my craft list, getting rid of debris and all that.

I can't make heads or tails of what they're supposed to be. Are they related to contracts I'm being offered?

The only addon I have is MechJeb, and it doesn't seem to be caused by that.

It's a new thing with 1.0.5, the "contextual contracts."  If you go to the mission control, you will find that they're offering a contract to "add on to space station such-and-such" or "move such-and-such satellite into a designated orbit."  Those little boxes indicate the craft that the contract is talking about.

They show you the marker even though you haven't accepted the contract, kinda like the way it shows target orbits for "launch a satellite to specific orbit" contracts even when you haven't accepted yet.
