Has anyone notice this about the skipper?

Yeah, this happened before 1.0 too, but because of the changes with 1.0.5 the glowing effect is dependent on time, not heat. This means that all you have to do to get to the end of the Skipper's heat animation--and see the blue effect--is to just run it for a while, and it doesn't require any extra heat than normal. On a somewhat-related note, this is exactly what my old mod did, which also had the same issue.

It also happens to some extent on the lv-909, which turns whitish after a long time.  Its not very pretty, although it is realistic since in actuality the higher the surface temperature the more high frequency wavelengths, but i do not believe that that engine would get so extremely hot as to emit white or blue.

Overall, its not something i care too much about, but i do see how some would find this odd.  It just doesnt fit in line with the glow appearance of the newer engines.  Perhaps some day we will get a visual overhaul of the stock rocket parts, as we got with the jets.
