Is anybody else having issues with the forum search engine?

I'm trying to find that mod which makes colored smoke which I remember was released in July around the 4th, but when I try to do a search in content titles only, I get this message:

Sorry, there is a problem

Something went wrong. Please try again.

Error code: EX2

 

Also, there really needs to be a better way to do advanced search.........

The vBulletin search was bad. This one is worse.
Google is a much faster and more reliable way to find anything on the forum these days.

Yup...its quite worthless in it's current state... I also notice there doesnt seem to be a link, or a way to search for specific forum members...

To use Google specifically for the forums, just add this text to the search box, along with your search keywords:

site:forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com

Also, I suspect that some of the issues that you are experiencing with the advanced search are caused by a few things that need KasperVld's poking in the forum's JavaScript. So try again in a week or so.

I have tried searching and it works OK, but what I look for is sometimes a few threads down and it shows EVERYTHING in the whole OP, takes so long to scroll down it.
