The Force explained?

The thing with magnetic fields creating electric currents in the neurons of the other guy to control his mind would totally not work since neurons are not made of copper wire and the transmission of impulses in the neurons has nothing to do with electric currents

Uhhhhh......magical device that measures a person's magic strength......

"So, how do you find out how strong a person's magic is?"

"With a magic detector."

"But how do you make a magic detector work??"

"By magic."

"So, how do you find the magic that makes the magic detector work???"

"With a magic detector."

"And you're not seeing a problem with that....?"

"Nope."

Anybody got a Tylenol????

Hmm.....You speaking of Star Wars or Harry Potter? It works for both. :P:D

That's not a real midichlorian detector, it's just a Photoshopped picture of one.

(that crunching sound you just heard was my suspension-of-disbelief hitting a brick wall....)

You must be a Sith or Jedi to measure the force...

Which gets back to the basic problem: you have to have the Force to measure it. So how do you measure it in order to get it?? You have to have it to measure it......and there's that headache again. Sigh.

Here's a first......one brain, TWO headaches...... :o

Magnetic fields have been proven to influence human brains - yet nothing comparable to mind control.

I dont know about these studies (it could be right i'm not denying it ) but if it is indeed the case then it is not for the reason stated in the OP because that can simply not work

Considering the brain relies on EM force stuff... It does have a lot of chemical communicators that activate electrical things. Those "could" be affected by EM fields. How much? Idk.

Thanks ! However i'm not really satisfied by this article since it only mentions electromagnetic induction as a reason for creating impulses in the brain without any details, and the link redirects to an article about simple induction wich only happens in conductors

Basically induction puts electrons in motion in a conductor but axons are not conductors and when an impulse passes through an axon, there are no electrons going from one end to the other like a regular current that would be induced by an EM field... It's more like the propagation of a wave

So my question now is how does it work ?
