Of course they had to over dramatise EVERYTHIING!.... especially the number seven. :P

I mean no offence to any Americans here but, this was clearly adapted for american audiences in mind...

For me it was like watching \'Sesame Street The Movie\'. ><

But if that\'s what it takes to inspire the average \'hill-billy red-neck\' to get a degree, then I\'m all for it.

NASA brought to KSP. ;)

I thought that last one was never going to stop exploding. It was the crash that kept on crashing.

Unfortunately, we have nothing that can simulate the tether than lowers the rover from the skycrane - the Damned Robotic extending cylinder is the nearest thing we have to it, but it would fold up small enough, and is not flexible.

a tether/ bungee part might be cool i remember the configuration for opportunity used a parachute/ retro-rocket/tether combination in a similar manner before the airbag cushions were deployed. would love to try the sky-crane idea to pick up a few of my botched landings too.
