How to retrieve transmitted/delivered data from earlier in the game?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I've read somewhere on the forum that you can retrieve data from KSC that you've transmitted/delivered earlier in the game, so you can submit it to a science lab. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

(forgive me for not being able to link the post - switching between systems, can't seem to find the post in my history)

Certainly you can browse the science you've previously submitted, to see what you've already gotten:  just go to the R&D complex, and click the tab at the top to see "Science Archives" instead of the tech tree.  Nice UI, lets you filter by various criteria (planet, instrument, situation).

However, AFAIK there's no way to actually get the science to feed it to a science lab-- once it's submitted, it's submitted.  (If I'm wrong about this, would love to find out!)  ;)

Actually it doesn't matter if you already transmitted data. You can run the same experiment again as long the same datata was not prcesed yet. Then this data can be aded to science lab for procesing.v5peQfu.jpg?1

One of these days I'm going to figure out how to use that lab.

I've got a lab on the Mun and Minimus and they're "processing", but I'm not sure what that means.

They don't seem to be doing anything else, sciencewise.

Possibly helpful explanation:
