Bob Jub
So I launched my space station with 4 gigantor solar panels attached to the ship on I-Beams... Soo everything was fine, but when I load the station is fine for maybe 5 seconds and then the solar panels wobble themselves off- This video is very similar to what is going on with mine-
sal_vager
I wish I had good news for you Bob Jub, but there's likely not much you can do for a craft already in the air. This is a stock physics bug when you have too many surface attached parts on a vessel that's too light, they start to move and this begins a feedback loop that tears craft apart. I guess you've used most of your fuel and your ship is now affected. Struts completely prevent this, but you can only place them in the VAB or SPH. You could try editing your persistent.sfs to close all the solar panels, but I don't know if that will work.

This is not entirely true. Stock, yes, you can only add them in the VAB/SPH. But with KAS (Kerbal Attachment System) an engineer on EVA can build them in space. But unfortunately KAS can't really help the OP situation. Adding struts on EVA takes some time. During that time his station will do the 'Kraken dance' and rip itself apart. You could edit the craft in the editor, save it, then open the .craft file (located in saves - your save name - ships - VAB/SPH) in a text editor. Select everything beginning where it says PART and copy it. Open persistent.sfs (located in your save folder) and find where it says vessel. Search under there until you find the name of your vessel, and delete everything past the first PART until the last PART on the vessel. Paste there what you just copied from the craft file. Note: you might want to save the values in certain parts, such as fuel tanks and add those back to it, or else you'll have a fully fueled craft, as opposed to an almost empty one. sal_vager
I completely forgot this, but please back up your save first!

I've had stations doing the Kraken dance with ALL reaction wheels disabled.
Bob Jub
It wasn't the reaction wheels- but what I believe it was is the solar panels being too close to each other for some reason. I closed 2 panels on each side (I had to do them 1 at a time then use time acceleration to prevent wobbling, go back to space center each time, it was a tedious process) and not it no longer shakes apart the solar panels. sal_vager
Yeah, not the flywheels. Here's an experiment you can try at home, in the VAB place an I-Beam, put 4 more I-Beams on in symmetry, launch it. Next, try to find a way to harness it for propulsion... karlthesoupgremlin
What I find works it toggling off the reaction wheels, turning off RCS and SAS and autostrutting EVERYTHING
