Hey Guys,

So I just installed a bunch of mods, but now my x86 kerbal is pretty unstable. Any thoughts?

Below is a screenshot of my CKAN in case you guys have any ideas.

The main crashes I am getting involve switch modes, ie from one craft to another, or from a craft to a building and vice versa.

Seems like most transitions. Would have to test more to figure out if I can be more specific than that.

Thanks for your time

Update, -force-opengl seems to have fixed the problem.

Worried about lower frame rate (seems opengl perfoms worse than dx on unity engines) and I am noticing graphics looks worse (no anti-aliasing? maybe other things).

Any thoughts guys?

Seems like I was running out of ram on 32-bit.

Again, much appreciated.

  • Revert from ultra textures of stock visual enhancements to a lower one (high, medium).
  • Check mods (besides EVE/SVE) if they all use dds-files, use this tool to konvert them, if neccessary:

  • Force DX11 instead of OpenGL. (-force-d3d11) to get back working FSAA and better FPS (slight text rendering problems, though).

if you're using 32 bit and are worried abour conserving RAM, and not so worried about texture quality, these mods are a good choice:

These two work great in 32 bit to same memory; they do however use a lot more processing resources; make sure you have a good CPU.
also, ATM conflicts the the IR expansion's and some of SpaceY's graphics.
