Real Solar System doesn't work for me, so I'm going to make a Kopernicus version. As well, I've run out of ideas.

I'm going to have several versions - SolSystem Basic, Standard and Complete. I'm going to work on Basic first.

So, I've started development and firstly, I have a problem with Kopernicus. I'm texturing Mercury and when I texture the planet if I use ScaledVersion{} the planet disappears, and with VertexColorMap{} the planet is still pink. Here's the code...

I'm not uploading the VertexColorMap{} because I'm not going to use it again and there was nothing indicating an issue.

I also want to change the colour of Sol to a bright yellow-white colour to make it more realistic. I should be OK making this.

Something that might help is looking at the RSSKopernicus.cfg included in RSS. It has all the data necessary to create RSS in kopernicus...but then thats probably because RSS already uses kopernicus. So I'm not sure what this thread is actually about. It has used kopernicus since v10.0 :rolleyes:

Nothing is wrong with RSS. I just can't use it because it doesn't work for me. So I wanted to make a Kopernicus-only version. I'm abandoning this project now, because I find it a bit boring. In a bit there'll be a more formal looking thread on another mod I'll be working on.
