does slower R.A.M affect game performance when using lots of mods

Recommended Posts

im using 16 gb of ram with a speed of 1333mhz, i was just wondering if i would see better performance with my 2133 16 gb ram thats on the way, i know that mods sometimes require a lot of ram and in particular the mods im using probably require quite a bit, when theres no mods, or less ram heavy mods the game runs perfectly, so im wondering if the speed of my ram has anything to do with it

Of course it will increase performance, but not by much. After running benchmarks for a few hours you may be able to determine that you have gained like 2% or so. Translate that into any metric you care about: will you ever notice when the frame rate has gone from 60->61, or if your personal tolerable part count has increased from 140 to 144?

IMO, that's not worth spending any money on. Even if I found that RAM sitting by the side of the road, I probably wouldn't bother opening my box.
