Hi there kerbonauts of our kommunity,

I joined to this forum about 18 days ago but I've already been playing the game for 9 months with 300 hours in-game. So, I've got to say that I'm pretty much liking its development and that the game is awesome by itself.

Thank you Squad and Kerbal community for keeping this game interesting.

PS: I'd like to know how to gain community reputation points.

Hello Ksp Slingshooter and welcome to the forum!

Good to have you aboard.

You gain reputation when somebody clicks the little 'Like this' button at the bottom right of your post.  We often call them replikes.

Happy landings!

Welcome aboard!

You get rep points when someone hits the like button on one of your statuses. As you can see, Starhawk and I have given you your first two freebies. Get posting and strut your stuff and the rep will follow!

Thanks guys.

So how many hours of flight have you got?

What have you been doing in ksp?

What are your biggest achievments?

I don't play through Steam, so I have no idea.  I'm quite sure I would be aghast at the number.

I've been in the process of turning my space program into a rescue program.

Three Kerbal Eve return and a Jool-5 mission, among others.

Happy landings!
Sometimes they can be both explosive and happy.  :)

I'm coming up on about 400 hours, definitely not as much as some of the other guys on the forum, but I do have some other games and interests that usually take up free time.

Link is in my signature for what I'm currently up to; my mission report.

My biggest achievements so far would probably be building a plane SSTO (for the K-Prize challenge), and sending probes to Duna and Eve, and I think a Dres flyby once. I don't get out (of Kerbin's SOI) much, I'm afraid. Not yet, anyway.

I also flew sucessfuly a SSTO but it was stock :( so it was just to improve flying skills with SSTO's.

However, my real achievments in-game were: landing on the mun, landing on minmus, building of two stations (one for kerbin and other for minmus), and a rendezvous with an asteroid.

I also didn't leave kerbin's SOI in an human vessel many times, just once to survey the space around the sun.

Sweet. I've never done an asteroid rendezvous, myself, but I did once rescue a Kerbal from an extremely elliptical orbit. Should be fitting practice, I would think.

I have done it twice (the first with Jeb and the second with a science probe).

It's kinda cool to grab an asteroid, but the rendezvous maneuver planning can be very tedious because you'll have to be extremely precise or else you'll be far away from the asteroid.

Yet I think that the feeling of grabbing an asteroid is worth the maneuver planning because then you could redirect the it if you have enough delta-v. And you can even take surface samples from it! :)

I also forgot to mention that I recently used a gravity assist from the mun to reach minmus with it saving about 100 m/s delta-v (my latest achievment).

It doesn't seem like much but it's great technique, especially when done with massive planetary bodies for either accelerate or decelerate saving tons of fuel, which is great! :)
